This 5 track EP has been released as a fund raiser for two charitable organisations……. Zetland Lifeboat Museum, Redcar

and Coastwatch Redcar.  

 

The Museum has a superb collection of local maritime history and houses the oldest lifeboat in the world which is listed in the National Historic Fleet (Cert. No. 627).

 

Coastwatch Redcar is a maritime surveillance station manned entirely by volunteers to assist HM Coastguard when required. Located above the musuem's top floor on the original Coastguard lookout site they operate 365 days a year.

Both of them depend heavily on public donations

 

100% of the net proceeds of this recording will be shared between both organisations.

Both recipients are close to Stan's heart, currently he is a volunteer with the Zetland Lifeboat Museum and also a senior volunteer watchkeeper and honorary secretary with Coastwatch Redcar. In the past he was a volunteer with the RNLI's Redcar station and has also worked in the fishing industry.
